THE ARTIST

Last years I was select in different cities in Europa like Florence , Rome, Milan ,
Nice , Paris , Cannes , Brussels etc. where I participated at exhibitions.
Today I still follow my surrealism style with influences of impressionism, abstract,
symbolism, realism . These styles I have practiced in the past and I integrate
them in my surrealism . The influence depends of the moment and the mood I am living in.
I’d like to do searches in my spiritual world and in my fantasies .
All these things happen with the timbre of music which enriches my inspiration.
Since some time I am passionate also by l’opera and longtime by music electronic which
I am also playing . The experimentation with pianos , synthesizers , modules and effect boxes give me
a source of energy for create new paintings.

L’ARTE ONIRICA DI RAPHAEL TIERENS

Raphael  Tierens nasce in Belgio dove tuttora vive ed opera.

Senza economia di studio, s’impegna a scoprire la tecnica dell’olio su tela creando opere di grande fantasia e astrattismo, per poi passare alla pittura surreale di grande ispirazione musicale e simbolica con citazioni e immagini prese dal passato.

Nonostante sia un pittore autodidatta, il risultato è da subito stupefacente e, di fatto, la sua partecipazione a numerose collettive raggiunge entusiastici consensi. Come scrisse André Breton, nel Manifeste du surréalisme  “Il surrealismo si fonda sull’idea di un grado di realtà superiore connesso a certe forme di associazione finora trascurate, sull’onnipotenza del sogno, sul gioco disinteressato del pensiero. Tende a liquidare definitivamente tutti gli altri meccanismi psichici e a sostituirsi ad essi nella risoluzione dei principali problemi della vita.”

Gran parte del suo lavoro evoca l'osservazione visiva, il commento, un significato nascosto. Produce un lavoro meticoloso e fluente.

La sua opera d'arte è l'estensione dei suoi processi di pensiero interiore e percezioni del mondo intorno a lui. Ha un forte desiderio di trasmettere la bellezza e la spiritualità del mondo naturale.

Dipinge principalmente con colori ad olio Usa colori tenui e movimenti energici, dipinge con passione e cura. Ogni pezzo è unico e parla da solo. 

L'argomento varia e di solito racconta una storia. 

Raphael continua ad esplorare e crescere con l'arte, rendendo il mondo, un posto migliore dove dipingere. Trae stimoli dalla bellezza della creazione di Dio nelle sue diverse forme ed espressioni.

Le sue ispirazioni sono varie: natura, animali, musica, manoscritti, bellezza, colore, alberi, sogni, spiritualità e storia dell'arte. 
Connesso e appassionato durante la creazione, raccoglie idee per nuove opere d'arte che raccontano la sua vita onirica.

Riciclando idee dalle opere d'arte passate, il suo dipinto diventa un altro progetto, aprendo le porte a una nuova creatività.

Sperimentando, esprime il suo amore per il colore e la passione per la pittura.

Natura e spiritualità sono parte della sua visione tanto quanto il suo amore per la forma umana.

Si può definire un viaggiatore interiore, che esplora il mondo inconscio misterioso ed veramente complesso. 

Nella vita reale e nella sua arte, non gli importa delle convenzioni e dei tabù, non ci sono Meme sacri che non possono essere toccati. I suoi dipinti sono meditazioni profonde piene di simboli sulla vita e sulle tendenze e reazioni più intime ... non necessariamente per creare qualcosa che piace alla maggior parte delle persone, ma per aprire una finestra su immagini impossibili da dimenticare.

Raphael oggi sa che il suo scopo primario è di riuscire a trasmettere le stesse emozioni che egli prova osservando quello che lo circonda ma trasfigurato dalla sua immaginazione, per questo riesce a lasciare un’impronta di se stesso nel tempo, continuando così ad appoggiare il pennello sulle sue tele con grande passione ed immensa dolcezza.

Il modus operandi dell’artista Ralti (Raphael Tierens) è quello di resistere all’apparenza sempre più evidente della realtà, provando a rievocare il carattere enigmatico delle cose.
Il suo richiamo al passato è vivo quanto quello rivolto al futuro, infatti, questa caratteristica ibridata si sublima attraverso il connubio tra l’immaginario antico e il simbolismo moderno i quali rappresentano per l’artista unreale tentativo di attraversare il suo presente tramite uno stile surreale, etereo ed onirico per approdare poi nei i luoghi della propria anima.
Ralti si esprime non solo da un punto di vista iconografico, ma anche materico, infatti ciò che traspare non è solo il mero colore, ma l’artista pone al centro delle sue raffigurazioni lo spirito, perciò in opposizione ad un’arte puramente retinica le figure nelle opere di Ralti lievitano leggere e il colore non è solo in sè stesso e non finisce làdove gli si dà un corpo materiale, esso risponde intimamente all’anima dell’artista.
La sua tecnica stilistica si evidenzia con delle campiture tonali avvolgenti che tendono a dilatarsi senza che unorizzonte, quasi mai ben definito o che una visuale troppo prospettica, ci costringa dentro un percorso o verso una direzione immediata.
Analizzando invece l’aspetto più profondo, a livello semantico/simbolico dell’operato di Ralti, si può riscontrare una poetica stilistica e contenutistica molto specifica dove il nuce dell’opera è tracciata da sottili metodologie esecutive e da schemi visivi rivolti ad una realtà legata al sogno-mito-pensiero.

Nasce così spontaneo, parlare di una tipologia di lavoro artistico mitopoetico, dove il linguaggio simbolista porterebbe al centro dell’opera non solo la forma esteriore sistemica dello schema prospettico ma il significato dei singoli oggetti/simbolo che Ralti in ogni sua opera vuole raccontare. In quegli spazi, dove il tempo rimane sospeso, la visione dello spettatore è rassicurata dalla tonalità cromatica calda che emana un senso di messaggio positivo.
Secondo l’Estetica della distanza di Marc Augè (Antropologo francese), l’individuazione del Non Luogo non è altro che quel modo di vedere da lontano, a distanza enorme, ciò in cui viviamo e ci circonda, senza più coglierne il dettaglio e la diversità.

L’artista Ralti ci rimanda a questi non luoghi , ovvero in quegli spazi che hanno la prerogativa di non essere identitari , appunto dei luoghi dell’anima, dove è importante invece il contributo dato dalle architetture, dalle rovine, perché esse ci mostrano un tempo in movimento, testimoniano che ci siamo stati e ci dà la speranza che ci saremo ancora in futuro.

“The places of the soul”
The modus operandi of Ralti (Raphael Tierens) is that to resist to the appearance more and more obvious of the reality, trying to recall the enigmatic nature of things.
His appeal to the past is alive as to the future, in fact, this hybridized characteristic is sublimated through the union among the ancient imagery and the modern symbolism which represent for the artist a real attempt to cross its present in a surreal , ethereal, and dreamlike style in order to reach the places of the own soul.
Ralti is expressed not only from an iconographic point of view, but also a matter point of view, in fact what is transmitted is not alone the mere color, but the artist places to the center of his representations the spirit, therefore in contrast to an art purely retinal the figures in the works of Ralti leavening lightly and the color is not only in itself and does not end there where it is given a material body, it responds intimately to the soul of the
artist.
Its stylistic technique is evidenced with of winding tonal background paintings that tend to dilate without a horizon, almost never very defined, or that visual too prospective, forces us inside a path or toward and immediate direction.
Analyzing instead the deepest aspect, to level semantic/symbolic of the works of Ralti, can be found a style poetic and contentic very specific where the nuce of the work it is traced from thin executive methodologies and visual schemes directed at a reality linked to the dream-myth-thought. It is so spontaneous that we talk about a typology of artistic work mythopoetic, where the symbolic language would bring to the center of the work not
only the systemic external form of the perspective scheme but the meaning of the single objects/symbols that Ralti in his every work wants to tell. In those spaces, where the time remains suspended, the vision of the spectator is reassured by the warm chromatic tonality that emanates a sense of positive message.
According to the aesthetics of the distance of Marc Augè (French anthropologist), the location of the No Place is not other that a way of seeing from far, enormous distance, this in which we live in and surrounds us, without ever catching on detail and diversity. The artist Ralti reminds us to these not-places, that is, in those spaces that have the prerogative of not being identical, exactly of the places of the soul, where it is important instead the
contribution given by the architectures, from the ruins, because they show us a time In motion, testify that wehave been there and give us the hope that we will still be in the future.

Dernières années mes oeuvres étaient exposées dans différentes
villes étrangères comme Rome , Paris , Cannes, Nice, St-Tropez , Florence , Berlin etc.
L’année passé en 2017 j’ai fait une exposition personelle dans la “ Galleria Il Collezionista “ à Rome et j’étais invité par la Galleria QueenArtStudio ( Padova ) pour L’Art Shopping ( Caroussel du Louvre) et à Cannes et au mois de juillet 2018 pour le Grand Salon Art 3F à  aussi par cette Galleria.
Une de mes oeuvres est en propriété de la ville de Cannes ( Collection Public ).
Je continue mon parcours surrealist dans la peinture et souvent j’aime
bien faire des recherches dans ma monde spirituel et dans mes fantasies .
Tout ça va naturellement sur le timbre de la musique qui enrichisse mon
inspiration . Déjà un certain temps je suis passioné par l’opera et longtemps par
la musique électronique que je suis aussi occupé d’une manière active .
L’experiment avec des synthetiseurs et modules me donne une source d’énergie
pour créer des sons et des nouvelles peintures après .
